Based on the images provided, your camera is an Ihagee Exa I, a vintage 35mm SLR (Single Lens Reflex) camera manufactured in Dresden, East Germany, during the 1960s.

Identification

The Exa I was designed as a more affordable, "entry-level" sibling to the professional Exakta line. It is highly regarded by collectors for its quirky mechanical design and robust build.

  • Model: Ihagee Exa I (Version 1 or 2, produced roughly between 1962–1964).

  • Lens: It appears to be fitted with an E. Ludwig Meritar 50mm f/2.9 lens. This was a common "kit" lens of the era, known for its simple triplet design that produces images with a distinct "vintage" softness.

  • Key Features: It features a removable viewfinder (yours has the eye-level prism) and a unique "guillotine" shutter, which limits the top shutter speed to 1/125 or 1/175 of a second.

Estimted Value: R1,200 - R1,800
